I am a seasoned technology professional and software engineer offering expertise in small business entrepreneurship, business process analysis, data modeling and database design, Internet application architecture, application development and programming, and application integration.

I have several decades of hands-on technology experience, ranging from mainframe database programming to interactive Rich Internet Applications. Over the years, I have mastered more than a dozen programming languages and half-a-dozen operating systems, and I have written assembler language utility libraries for several computer architectures.

I am proficient with contemporary Web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery UI, Flash/Flex/AIR and ActionScript. I also have skill with the Adobe Creative Suite products, especially Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and PhotoShop. I founded an application developer user group in 1999 and have managed it continuously since then. Adobe has designated me an Adobe Community Leader.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University’s School of Communication and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Currently I am seeking new contract opportunities, with immediate availabilityapproaching the conclusion of a contract and seeking new opportunitiesengaged in a long-term contract and not presently available for other workemployed on a fulltime basis as a Senior Software Engineer at November Research Group in Oakland, California.
